      <image:title>Home - Meet Dave</image:title>
<image:caption>David Jones has been helping contractors, architects, and suppliers source rare lumber species for the last forty years. A second generation woodsman, lumber is in Dave’s DNA. Dave began working for the family business (the eponymous Foster Lumber) at age 11, eventually going on to manage the company before being named President of the corporation in the 1990’s. With Dave at the helm, Foster Lumber continued to maintain a strong reputation for quality building materials and excellent service. During this time, Dave developed strong relationships with small batch redwood producers – including many local milling families with generations’ worth of sourcing intelligence. After Dave sold Foster Lumber in 2018, industry friends and professional contacts continued reaching out for help with sourcing rare lumber. With the siren song of the industry quite literally calling, Noyo Timber was born.</image:caption>
